The lens features 18 elements in 13 groups, including FLD and SLD elements for reduced chromatic aberrations, and five aspherical elements for sharpness and accurate rendering. It boasts a minimum focusing distance of 15.8 inches, an HLA autofocus motor for quiet and precise focusing, and a dust- and splash-resistant design with a water- and oil-repellant front element coating for enhanced durability. The lens also includes two AF-L buttons, a zoom lock switch, and a lockable aperture ring with click/de-click function for convenient operation.

Designed for L-Mount-mount full-frame mirrorless camera systems, this lens provides a minimum focusing distance of 15.8″ across the entire zoom, ensuring your ability to capture detailed close-ups of your subjects. Driven by an HLA motor, this lens delivers quiet and precise autofocusing, and its rounded 12-blade diaphragm ensures pleasing and circular bokeh. This lens repels damage from outside elements by coupling a water- and oil-repellant front lens element coating with a dust- and splash-resistant design.
Lens Features.

Two AF-L buttons are available to be programmed based on your shooting needs.A zoom lock switch prevents the lens from accidentally extending.

The lockable aperture ring with click/de-click function enables smooth adjustments and prevents unintentional value changes.

Optical Design

Two F Low Dispersion (FLD) and one Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements markedly reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing throughout the zoom range for improved clarity and color accuracy.Five aspherical elements control spherical aberrations and distortion for increased sharpness and accurate rendering.

A water- and oil-repellant coating is applied to the front lens element to minimize any liquids from sticking to the glass.
