The Cage Kit for Canon EOS R6 Mark II by SmallRig is
designed to enhance handheld shooting, providing improved portability
and accessory expansion. The kit includes a cage, a USB-C and HDMI cable
clamp, and a comfortable top handle for convenient camera carrying and
low-angle shots.
Features and Capabilities
The cage and top handle offer a variety of expansion capabilities:
- Multiple 1/4″-20 threaded holes for attaching monitor mounts
- Multiple cold shoe mounts for microphones, video lights, and other accessories
- Built-in 3/8″-16 threaded holes with ARRI locating holes for the attachment of monitor mounts
- NATO rail on the left side to accommodate accessories with a NATO clamp
- Compatible with Arca-type tripods
- Compatible with DJI RS series stabilizers, including RS 2, RS 3 Pro, and RS 4 Pro
Fastening
- USB-C and HDMI cable clamp is securely fastened to the left side of the cage with two M3 screws to prevent deflection.
- Cage features dedicated wrist strap slots on both sides for added convenience.
- Magnetic Allen wrench facilitates easy assembly and disassembly and tightening of screws to secure cables.
