The SmallRig Rotatable Horizontal-to-Vertical Mount Plate Kit for Sony Alpha 7R V / Alpha 7 IV / Alpha 7S III / Alpha 7R IV 4148 is designed to allow for quick switching between horizontal and vertical modes without the need to adjust the lens’s optical axis. This kit securely locks the bottom of your camera with a 1/4″-20 screw and an anti-twist pin, ensuring a stable fit. It also maintains full access to the LCD flip screen and ports, while built-in pads prevent scratches and twisting.

The mounting plate is compatible with Arca-type and Manfrotto RC2 tripods, allowing flexibility in various setups. You can easily rotate the plate by 90 degrees by simply unlocking the knob, enabling a smooth transition between horizontal and vertical shooting. The plate’s bottom features both 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes, which support accessories like Handle 2093C, improving stability during handheld shooting. For added versatility, the baseplate can be used separately to meet your specific needs.

The kit also includes a hinge arm that fits perfectly around the camera’s battery door for a better grip experience. Additionally, a strap slot and a 1/4″-20 threaded hole for a wrist strap are provided. A quick-release plate and a magnetic double-head wrench are also included for easy installation and release.
